Trying out my new webcam!

Hi everybody, my OH bought a new laptop last weekend which has a webcam built in, so here I am taking some photos with it, and where better to put them than on my blog?

Is it me or do I look very different here? I look very smug and STRANGE!
Do you like my hair? I decided to give myself some waves with my Remington pearl wand and then braid my hair at the sides and secure at the back! :)

This was my outfit! Worn with black leggings, small black shoulder bag and my green pumps.

PUMPS - PRIMARK - 3 POUND.

Now its time to head off to the post office and pick up some packages, and then to my cousins to check out her new hairstyle! =p

What is in my bag right now.

I love these kind of post, they are so interesting and really invite you into somebody else's world!
I don't know if its just me, but I always just want to look in women's handbags and see what is lying inside there, especially women with HUGE handbags..it would be great if you could just turn to someone and say "Hey, Can I have a nosy around your bag?" and they were like "Yeah sure, go ahead!" I am sure eventually you would find some VERY bizarre items.

So, this is my bag! My lovely cheap tan satchel from eBay and its contents.

• 1 packet of face wipes.


• 1 appointment card for a course I am attending


• 1 bottle of body spray


• 1 lip balm


• 2 lovely period pads


• 2 money saving vouchers for the cinema


• My wallet ( I blurred out the picture of my OH incase anyone is wandering what that weird blurred picture is. )

• 2 tram tickets into town


• My anti depressants ( they are there incase I get somewhere and realize I haven't taken them )


• A picture of my dad and his sisters when he was younger ( SO cute! My aunt gave it to me but of course I haven't 'had the time' to take it out. )

What I bought recently.

A huge hello to everybody! I am so sorry for lack of post, I have had no camera but luckily I have it back now! Lots of post hopefully on the way.

I had a trip into town recently and first stop was Dorothy Perkins to spend my 10 pound voucher, and I fell in love with this pretty basic print dress in navy, I think its so cute and it was only 10 pound! So of course I bought it. 

I have to say though, I don't think the picture does it  justice,  its very flattering on and hugs my figure and looks so casual, perfect with tights, flats and a leather jacket.

I then wondered around a few other shops, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get much for my money so I ended up going to Primark as usual =p and this is what I came out with.

A very cute and sexy underwear set, only 2 pound for the bottoms and 3 pound for the bra, very cheap and love the colour, very relaxed and looks lovely with the black lace.

Next up was this gorgeous pink and cream jumper, I fell in love with it straight away and thought it would be perfect for the upcoming cold months! I seen a similar one in Miss Selfridge except that was 40 pound, this was only 12 pound!

Next up, this beautiful flattering swan print peter pan collar blouse ( bit of a mouthful! ) for £7.00, probably my favorite buy from Primark so far.

I then came home and decided to look online, I seen this lovely navy heart print dress which I thought was very very cute, it was from a shop on eBay called Hiddenfashion and was only 10 pound including delivery.

I love it, perfect for warm days and so casual and great quality, it also has some really nice detailing on the waist which shows off some skin, what do you think of it?

With my  money coming to an end I wondered what else would be a good buy and then it hit me, NAIL POLISH! And lots of it, it took me a while to find a good cheap deal, but eventually I seen a La Femme nail polish bundle on eBay for £8.99!
I decided to buy them and went for the brightest colours ( also bought a white polish separately. ) as I am looking to get into nail aer and thought those colours would come in handy and be used quite often.

I now have an alright nail polish collection! Yay for me.

Primark and Costco cake

Evening everybody!

Me and my boyfriend decided to take my little brother in town today to buy a few things for him for his 14th birthday!
But, as we were in Primark as usual I was distracted by lovely clothes. My boyfriend could see I was obviously distressed and said I could pick a few things and he would pay, aww, I have such a good boyfriend.

My first buy was these pyjamas!
I cant even explain to you how much I am in love with them, as soon as my boyfriend seen them he was like GET THEM, they were just calling my name and really suit me as a person haha.

Aren't they just adorable?! And it was only 10 pound for the set! I honestly couldn't resist!

The next thing I looked for was a nice lightweight t-shirt, blouse ect..to wear in the sunshine, as I dont show off my upper arms as I really dislike them and wearing cardigans and jumpers in the heat is not good!
I seen this top and really liked it.

This top was £12.00, its really flattering on and covers the top of my arms so I can feel all confident and cool when I'm wearing it.

I also got a lovely black lightweight blazer which was only £12.00 too, its lovely on but unfortunately it doesn't photograph too well haha, so I will leave it out of this post.

To finish off a nice day in town, my brother gave me and my boyfriend a huge piece of COSTCO cake! MMM, the best cake in the world! Do you want a picture to make you jealous? Okay, here we go =p

Nailfinity - shade BOJI - Max Factor

I have used quite a few of Max Factors Nailfinity range and I really like them, you only need 2 strokes for a nice glossy opaque finish, they offer great colours too.

For Christmas I received a gift set with a few limited edition nail polishes in, BOJI is the one I will be showing you today.

THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN WITH NO FLASH, BRIGHTEST ROOM IN MY FLAT. 

As you can see, its a nudey purple colour and I dont find I need to add a top coat with this as it last really well without chipping, peeling off and also it gives such a great high gloss finish which last for days! They are also reasonably priced too when you consider the quality of them, I would definitely recommend Nailfinity to everybody.

My mum wanted to call me Sorcha, which is a weird name, reminds me of a hot frying pan.

Probably my dads sister, Sheila and her daughter Laura.

4. What was your first job?

It wasn't a job as such, but I did a few days in a hair salon, kind of embarrassed to admit that is the only thing I have done!

6. Did anything embarassing happen this week?

Nothing, yay!

7. Do you miss your ex?

I dont miss my ex at all, was very young at the time and it was more of a kid thing if you know what I mean? Not serious at all.

8. Do people praise you for your looks?

Nope.

9. What is your favorite color of clothing to wear?

I have no idea, I would say I wear black and white the most..its not really the colour which is most important, its the actual item of clothing.

10. How do you wear your makeup?

Quite heavy, too many layers of foundation & powder.I have bad skin at the moment.

11. What are some of your nicknames?

Slaypay is something my boyfriend has always called me.

12. How many bedrooms are in your house? 

Just the one, but its huge so I am happy with it.

13. How many bathrooms?

One, I really dont like it, its boring, depressing and so plain! The landlord will not let me change it though.

14. Do you have a job?

I do not.

15. Do you have a car?

No, but I want a range rover.

16. Do you work out every week?

I try too, if I dont work out on gym equipment I will at least try to get in lots of walking and eat healthily.

17. Did you brush your teeth this morning?

Of course I did! I have a brace so I REALLY need to keep on top of these kind of things =p

Yes, when I was younger and once school was over and finished with haven't bumped in to anyone.

19. Have you ever sang in front of a crowd? 

I used to sing, dance and act when I was younger, I performed in front of 100s lots of times, it was a good experience but wasn't for me.

20. What kind of bathing suit do you wear?

I haven't ever wore a bathing suit, never been on holiday and have only been to the beach about 4 times in my life, each times I wore shorts and vest AND socks, yes socks! I had a weird thing about my toes being on show at the beach? I was very young back then though.

21. Do you like your eyes?

I think my eyes are nice yes, lots of people compliment me on them!

22. Do you think you are pretty?

I am beginning to accept myself more, I think I am okay.

23. Who was the last person you talked to in person?

My boyfriend, he has to work tomorrow so he was in bed a few hours ago. I gave him about 15 kisses all over his face and told him I loved him.

24. How much money is in your checking account?

20 pound at the moment, I am saving up for my boyfriends birthday next month.

No.

26. Do you want kids?

Eventually yeah, my cousin has just had a baby and I adore him, he is the sweetest little thing..and as much as I love looking after him I just know me and my boyfriend are really not anywhere near ready for a baby yet, maybe when I am around 25/26.

Its a tan satchel which I purchased from eBay.

Katy Perry.

The Dark Knight Rises - go and watch it! It was the best movie I have seen in years.

Yeah, we are nearly at 4 years now.

Yes.

I haven't cheated, I could never hurt somebody like that.

Blog, lust over clothes online, browse online, create fashion sets on Polyvore, bake, clean, read, watch TV, go on the XBOX, talk to my boyfriend, try on clothes and make up styles..that kind of thing.

I do have a Facebook yeah, but not your typical one, I use it for speaking to people I have met on websites, I only have 6 friends at the minute.

36: What’s the cutest thing someone’s ever done for you?

The cutest thing? On the first day my boyfriend started work he came home with one rose because I was upset and had missed him.

One of my cousins, Laura.

1 serious boyfriend, a few others when I was back in school.

A mess, I have a greasy face ( make up has been on since 1'oclock this afternoon! Messy hair, and I only have a vest on.

My amazing boyfriend.

Nails Inc. Fitzroy Square

I won a goodie bag last year from Cosmopolitan and this nail polish came inside, but back then, it looked a lot prettier..the bottle is ruined after having it for so long as you can see.

I loved the colour straight away, very eye catching and sparkly, it catches the light as you move and is so bright and glitzy! I was really happy to be trying out a Nails Inc polish, as I had never used one before but had heard really good things about them!

The brush is nicely made, big and thick and it takes about 3/4 strokes ( let them dry in between ) for you to have a striking glitter nail the same effect as how it looks in the nail polish bottle, if you just want a slight shimmery effect though you can just use one layer, either over another nail polish or on your bare nails.

The finish is really pretty, but I like to put over a top coat as it tends to be quite rough because of all the glitter and I find the top coats adds a nice glossy, brighter finish.

I will be doing more nail polish reviews, I recently ordered a fake practise hand and some false nails off Ebay which I will use to show you as my own nails are not the prettiest things in the world ( I bite and chew them a lot. )
